  • Walk-in visits are NOT available. For patient safety, patients experiencing medical emergencies should call 911 or proceed directly to the nearest emergency center. Same-day appointments are usually available to our established patients for treatment of acute illness. Please call us when we open at 8 am.
  • New patients and routine follow-up visits such as medication refills and physical should be scheduled at least 2-4 weeks in advance.
  • Dr. Mock does not examine or treat work-related injuries. As these injuries are not normally covered by medical insurance and Dr. Mock is not trained in determining medical legal damages or liability, please contact a workers compensation provider for treatment.
  • Patients receiving treatment for auto accidents will be responsible for the full visit charges, at the self-pay discounted rate. Paperwork will be given so claims can be filed with the responsible auto insurance, as medical insurance is not responsible for charges.

Preparing for your Appointment:

Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you do not show up within fifteen minutes of your scheduled time, you will probably be required to reschedule for a different day or time. All of our established patients are permitted to be late for or miss up to three appointments within twelve months, without penalty. Patients who exceed these reasonable limits will likely be asked to find another primary-care physician.

Please bring to your appointment: your medical insurance card(s); your prescription drug plan card(s); legal photo identification (e.g., drivers license); a method of payment for any past balances or copays/deductibles due (checks, cash, & all major credit cards are accepted); and, any pertinent medical information (i.e., your list of current medication, any blood pressure or blood sugar logs if you have high blood pressure or high blood sugar/diabetes, any recent labs or other testing from other doctors)

If your insurance plan or your contact information has changed since your last visit, please inform us when you arrive. Failure to update your insurance or contact information can cost you money (from denied insurance claims) & can harm your health (by delaying your care).

Please understand that Dr. Mock will be treating you as a whole person. Sometimes your visit with Dr. Mock will take five minutes, sometimes your appointment will take an hour; sometimes you will wait for five minutes to be seen, sometimes you will wait for an hour. Please allow at least 2-3 hours in your schedule for a doctor's appointment. If you only want a doctor who will write you a prescription for a single problem and not deal with your general health and well-being or if you want a doctor who will gloss over what you need to do to take proper care of your health and won't hold you accountable, then you should select a different doctor. Dr. Mock's patients love the care he provides, because they understand that he takes time to listen, he cares about their entire health & well-being, and encourages them to take actions that can improve their length and quality of life.
